 ... with lots of bits of hard vegetables, not the most pleasant tasting soup I had ever eaten. To be honest I don't think I would buy this particular brand again or this variety as it really put me off tinned soup and as I was not a great fan in the first place it is a great pity. I also found this soup to be very salty possibly to counteract the bland flavour encountered by the chicken or lack of it. Sorry just not for me Morrison's even at 59p per tin you could do much better....more

It was time for lunch and as neither my husband or myself wanted a heavy lunch we opted for soup. Being a bit lazy decided on a tin of Morrison's own brand of winter chicken, vegetable barley soup. I opened the tin and it smelt a little like the chicken and veg soup I expected but was not totally doing the business on my taste buds. I heated it through as directed on the tin and this made the smell heighten a little, still not convinced I served it with some bread and butter. Works brill when you cook with it Not the best tasting chocolate; Melts slowly

Good size bottles & plenty in a bag, quite soft & chewy with a nice sweet & sugary taste High in sugar (in case you hadn't already guessed!)
