Mr Brains Pork Faggots - Sounds discusting , taste great

I bought these a while back from Morrisons as two packs were on offer for 2.00 pounds. I thought I would give them a go as It would work out as a cheap meal.

I had never actually tried or heard of these before but my mum insisted that I should get them as there nice, so I did. Believe it or not the Faggots are made of a mucky mixture of meat, mostly the cheaper things i.e. liver. They also contain a lot of offal which helps it all cling together.

The faggots come frozen and can be stored in the freezer for a few months before they need to be eaten. Great as if you do not want to eat 4 at a time you can save some for later.

The faggots themselves are really easy to cook and come in a metal container in gravy. I tend to add more gravy as I do love my gravy and like to have a lot of it.

The gravy smells quite distinctive when cooking with the faggots and they smell rather rich.

I tend to cook the faggots with mashed potato or chips and vegetables. You could use the faggots as a alternative for beef of chicken on a sunday dinner.

Overall, a great cheap meal - give it a go xx
