While out and about recently I spotted a box of Mr Kipling cakes that I hadn't noticed before, Caramel Cake Bites, which are small individually wrapped cakes that have a caramel flavour running through them. I bought a box instantly as I adore most caramel flavoured foods, unfortunately I feel let down by these as they are bland and uninspired - completely unlike most other Mr Kipling offerings. A Caramel Cake Bite is basically a toffee flavoured sponge cake which has been split across the middle and spread with a thick and gooey caramel sauce.
