Advantages: Taste.
Disadvantages: Unhealthy.
Who doesn't love French Fancies? Well, I do and these are the best available, with a high quality, superior taste and a very nice appearance, these are worth the extra over cheaper alternative brands that can't match the high quality of Mr Kipling.
The packaging is very simple and bright, making it easy to notice. The text can be read very easily and the image on the front will make your mouth water. As always, the packaging is easy to open and the product is always fresh but can sometimes be slightly squashed and you need another container to put them in after you have finished or they become soft, which is very annoying.
The price is good, but more expensive than other alternative brands. However, I think the extra cost is worth it for a superior flavour, appearance and a higher quality. On the other hand, you get less than other Mr Kipling's cakes as they are very small, addicting but you won't want another as they are also very filling, making them a perfect snack.
The smell is very sweet, and it will make you just want to pop one into your mouth. When you do, the icing starts to melt in your mouth. This flakes away and the soft cakes comes into play. These create the perfect opposing textures. The flavours also work together very well, with the sweet icing complimenting the rich cake. You also get a creamy layer that melts in your mouth and mixes with the cake.
The cakes are very high quality with a good amount of icing, cream and sponge. They are always fresh and are packed with flavour, unlike alternative brands.
However, they are also packed with calories and fat.
In conclusion, these cakes match the usual high quality of Mr Kipling and have a terrific taste, texture and blow alternative brands out of the water, making them worth the extra cost. Everyone will love them.
Summary: Everyone will love them.
