Advantages: They're delicious; Quite cheap; Sweet
Disadvantages: none
My mum brought these last week and I loved them even though we've had them before but I've never tried them because I never liked the look of them.
You get 8 little square cakes in a box and they are so tasty that I couldn't stop eating them and neither could anyone else in the house and they were gone in a few minutes of opening them.
There is a chocolate flavour, a pink one and a yellow one. The chocolate French Fancies taste like chocolate but it's chocolate icing and not proper chocolate and that was a suprise because it looks like real chocolate when you take the cake out of the box. The pink and yellow ones taste the same but there is a very small difference between the flavours.
The cake is very soft and has a very sweet flavour and it melts in your mouth when you eat it. There is a little dome of cream on the top but it's not proper cream and I'm glad about that because this one is loads better and is thick like buttercream and tastes like vanilla. All the cakes are proper sweet and soft and they're gone in 2 bites but aren't sickly at all. The icing is very sweet and my teeth sink through it and then into the soft cake underneath and they are yummy, I could have ate all 8 of them I reckon but I had to let my mum and dad have some!
These are about £1.69 and you can get them in all the supermarkets but my mum got ours from the Costcutter shop by me and they were £1.00 on special offer.
