Introduction Mr Kipling lemon slices are 'Exceedingly Good'! I have been buying these every so often for years. I really like the way they look and how they taste that little bit nicer than spin off's of these! These lemon slices have been around for quite some time now, don't be put off by this because they always taste great!! Packaging These come in packs of six in a cardboard box, inside the box, the cakes are in plastic wrappers in sets of two's! The theme has changed from the above image, it now has 'lemon' in green font diagonally across the box. There are images of the lemon slices around the box with nutritional ... Another interesting cake selection from Mr Kipling this time round the lemon cake gets sliced. Again the box is a red/orange colour with both the maker and cake name displayed for you. And not forgetting the enticing picture of the cake to tempt you in. However the cake on the outside of the box is the same as the cake within. How many times do you see real true advertising?? Well done Mr Kipling. The cakes which again are individually wrapped in pairs keep them fresh and great for lunchboxes or snacks. The cakes consist of lemon flavour sponge, which is very light, fluffy and airy. This is covered on the top with a white lemon flavoured icing ... Read the complete review

After a rather unpleasant start with Mr. Kipling products (I didn't much like the French Fancies), I decided to give him another try. What prompted this latest foray into his baked products was the fact that I found a package of lemon slices in Tesco on sale for just £1. I figured these might be better than the French Fancies which were too sweet as these are flavoured with lemon. And for £1 for 6 slices of cake, it was an offer I just couldn't refuse. Mr. Kipling Lemon Slices come in a rather brightly coloured yellow and red cardboard box featuring a drawing of a giant slice of cake. There are six slices in a box and each slice contains 120 calories. ... Read the complete review

In my ever searching quest for the perfect Lemon product I willingly purchased Mr Kipling offering in my local Tescos - 2 packs of 6 cakes for £2 or £1.30 for 6. I'm a two pack kinda girl and mmmm mmmm if these aren't ALL that. So as a lemon addict I'm sat here salivating with 12 Exceedingly good Lemon Slices and what's a girl gonna do? Read the label for a dooyoo review of course.. Each slice (29g) contains Calories 120 Sugars 14.0g Fat 4.8g Saturates 2.2g Salt 0.15g I flip over for the Ingredients and even I fall asleep whilst reading them so I won't bore you here - needless to ... An offer on a pack of cakes is too much for me just to walk past, especially when we were in the supermarket on the lookout for some nice picnic food this week. Mr Kipling Lemon slices were on offer for £1 for six slices. Into the basket they went and proceeded to be packed for a nice picnic lunch. Most people will have heard of Mr Kipling and his cakes. They are usually on the higher scale of the pricing structure, but usually offers can be found to make them more value for money. Straight away the downside to these cakes is the fact they are packaged into trays which contain two. This means that the whole box of six cakes will only serve three people if ...
