They've just started selling these scratchings in my local pub and this dinner time I had a bag even though if I haven't had a drink the thought of scratchings makes me feel sick! lol Scratchings are cooked pork fat and these are the best I've had I reckon. They're quite big and some of them are hard enough to break your teeth, they're greasy and some of them have still got bits of wiry pig hair on them but they taste sooooo good that you forget all that disgusting stuff. The scratchings are lovely and salty, they taste of pork cracking and are so meaty tasting that I can't stop myself eating the whole bag even though I know they're majorly bad ... I bought a pack of 12 of these pork scratchings from an online shop that sells them through Ebay. I think I paid 7 pounds for the scratchings and one or two quid for postage but I couldn't find them anywhere else so I thought I'd give it a go. They come in a little 40g bag and it reads that they're prime cut pork scratchings diced into large pieces. I've only ever had the Chinese pork rinds so hoped that these would be the same. These do taste slightly different but nice; though I must say, seeing a pig hair stick out of one of them kind of put me off a bit but decided to try one with no hair on and they're pretty tasty. They're very crunchy, salty and ... Read the complete review

They may be unhealthy, but they're damn good! Call me piggy, but I do like some Mr Porky Scratchings to satisfy my crunch cravings! :o) Mr Porky is a range of pork scratchings produced by Redmil, one of the UKs leading savory snack food manufacturers with over 30 years experience. I trust that they're good quality and have never had a less than tasty packet. Scratchings are generally bar snacks so you'll probably come across these quite easily in pubs, but they're harder to come by in supermarkets. I buy these from Morrisons but haven't seen these exact ones elsewhere, though Mr Porky Pork Crackles seem more readily available (very similar but ... Read the complete review

I love pork scratchings. I know they about as bad for you as snack foods get, but they are one of my favourite foods and I probably eat far too many of them! Mr. Porky products would not normally be my first choice when buying pork scratchings. The standard Mr. Porky scratchings (gold packet) are usually very small, bland and expensive compared to other brands. I do end up eating them fairly often even so, however, as they are far more widely available than others, and are usually the only brand available in supermarkets. I discovered this new, premium variety some time ago, but they have become more widely available in recent times. They are a ... Read the complete review

Mr Porky Prime Cut Scratchings ============================== I bought these from Tescos the other day for 99p and you get a huge bag of the things....a bargain. ~Packaging~ Comes in a distinctive black shiny pack with a picture of an old fashioned butcher standing there which gives you the impression that what's inside is very good for you.,,, Ha. ~The Scratchings~ They are larger, by far, than the ones you can pick up in your local outdoor. They are far cheaper and to be honest a little bit tastier. They tend to have more fat on them and you can get a mouthful of grease if your luck is out. But then even with other ...
