Disadvantages: Scratchings are just a rank idea really! lol

They've just started selling these scratchings in my local pub and this dinner time I had a bag even though if I haven't had a drink the thought of scratchings makes me feel sick! lol

Scratchings are cooked pork fat and these are the best I've had I reckon. They're quite big and some of them are hard enough to break your teeth, they're greasy and some of them have still got bits of wiry pig hair on them but they taste sooooo good that you forget all that disgusting stuff.

The scratchings are lovely and salty, they taste of pork cracking and are so meaty tasting that I can't stop myself eating the whole bag even though I know they're majorly bad for me. Some of them are much softer and they melt in your mouth and bring a bacon / pork flavour with them. God, melting pig fat sounds rank doesn't it? lol

They're wickedly crunchy and every bit of the scratching has a strong taste, I've not come across a single off tasting one and they've all got the same good quality.

They make you thirsty because they are quite dry even though they're proper greasy feeling and also because of the salt on them. They are a landlords dream because once you start on a bag of Mr Porky scratchings you can drink a pint of lager like it's pop because your mouth gets so dry! lol

I think these scratchings are the best, I've eaten a few different brands in different pubs but these taste the freshest to me and have deffo got the best and most meaty flavour.

Summary: I Love Them Even Though Eating Pork Fat Is A Sick Idea!
