Advantages: scrumptious, fresh and fruity, healthy, cheap
Disadvantages: not too positive texture !
The second time I ventured to Asda and took the opportunity to fill my trolley with Müller yoghurts after spotting their spectacular '12 for £3' deal, I found myself adding in an Apricot option. (I was actually surprised I had not noticed this the first time I used this offer, I love the taste of apricot!).
Luckily, it was in the morning that I went to Asda, so my ever-growing craving for the fresh and fruity taste of Apricot did not have long to wait to settle itself. Soon after I had sipped my soup for lunch (nothing tastes the same when you have a craving for something completely opposite), I reached into the fridge to retrieve my desired dessert. Just from the image on the lid, it looked delicious; a shiny segment of apricot, bearing its flesh at me. Though, as I opened, this once-attractive lid let me down, as spurts of the creamy yoghurt came flying out all over me; just my luck! It's only on the odd occasion that I can actually manage to open a Müller without making a mess! Typical!
I stared into the pot, and was not best pleased with what I saw, to say the least! The yoghurt itself appeared to be exceptionally watery, and the almost-transparent cubes of apricot stood out against the pale yellow shade. It didn't look very appetising, but fortunately, I was not put off by this!
With its scent most definitely like that of the apricot, it was taste that seemed most important, and I hoped it would not let me down, especially with its thick and gloopy texture!
I spooned a small amount into my mouth, making sure I collected some fruit pieces on the way as to get the full experience. It was a lot sweeter than I had imagines, but definitely fresh and fruity too. The yoghurt tasted remarkably of vanilla ice cream, which was Ok, but not the most satisfying flavour combination in the world!
After a poor appearance and dodgy texture, the scrumptious taste of the Apricot yoghurt gave it that little bit more credibility!

After such a success with the dairy yoghurt products, they soon launched a Muller Rice range, which were equally loved. Later in the 80s, followed the popular Muller Corner range! From then, the family business continued to churn out new ideas and varieties of snacks and desserts, each one as delicious and appealing as the next! Muller currently provides us with 8 different snack options to choose from;
*amore
*corner
*little stars
*Muller rice
*one a day
*vitality
*Cadburys
*Muller light
Muller provides a wide variety of yoghurts and drinks to help keep the nation happy and healthy, with something to suit everybody!
Müller Light
---------------
Despite all their great options and snacks, Muller Light is most definitely my favourite yoghurt option, and there isn't a day that goes by now without me having one - fortunately, they are quite healthy! You cannot possibly get bored with the taste either, as they offer such a variety of flavours and experiences for you to devour!
They do the Fruity range; this included flavours like Apricot, Blueberry, and Rhubarb.
There's the Smooth range; yoghurt without 'bits'! They do flavours such as toffee, and banana and custard!
The newest edition is the Fruit Layers- yoghurt with layers of fruit puree through the bottom! They're delicious, especially the Strawberry!
Would I Recommend?
--------------------------
Looking at the Müller brand as a whole, it is definitely a company I would recommend to all! But taking this flavour of yoghurt on its own, it's not so simple! A lot of people are put off by the appearance of food, and if you fit into that category, then this may not be the best snack choice! Though, it does smell pleasant, and has a gloriously fruity sweet taste, so based on that, then it is a definite recommendation!
The product itself is great, but it depends on the preferences of the individual person this time round!
*****
Despite a not-so-good first impression on the Apricot Müller Light, I really enjoyed my dessert when I got the taste for it, and it certainly relaxed my craving! I was left feeling rather full after it, so there's another benefit; reduced risk of over-indulging! I think I will be buying this again next time I stock up!
