More often than not I bring my own lunch to work, rather than buying it from the work canteen, or stealing someone else's from the communal fridge (I am of course joking about that last bit. I'm forever bringing milk into work for my coffee and cereal only to discover that some other joker has stolen it, and left me with an empty carton. I've often contemplated contaminating my milk with a surprise additional ingredient (I'll let you all use your imagination what I'd contaminate it with) to exact my revenge on these thieves. Anyway, I've slightly gone off on one there...). Having sandwiches every day can get a bit boring (don't get me wrong, I love sandwiches, ... Read the complete review

Mug Shots are smallish sachets of dried pasta in sauce, ideal for taking for a quick lunch at work or enjoying at home as a quick snack. They come in foil coated paper style sachets which are easily torn apart, brightly coloured, the cream cheese one is green and the tomato one is red, that is all I remember, sorry!! It will tell you if that particular flavour is low in fat, the ingredients and the nutrition will be on the back of the pack. They are extrmely simple to prepare, simply pop the contents of the sachets into a mug, I recommend using the biggish mug as the product will simply be too strong if it us used in a cup or a small mug. Mug Shots are a hot pasta based instant snack lurching somewhere between a micro pot-less pot noodle and a cup-a-soup in a man sized packet. At 68g a packet they're a teeny fraction of the size of the standard 200g pot noodle but equally they are considerably bigger than a puny 25g cup-a-soup. At the moment they are only available individaully and average 65p per pack although theres a considerable price variation between the six existing flavour variants which include creamy cheese (decidedly chemically), tomato and herb (rather pleasant and definately tomatoey), chicken and mushroom (overpoweringly mushroomy) and chicken which is definately the best of a ... 'Mug Shot' is a quick pasta or noodle snack you make in a mug, just like a Cup-a-Soup. It comes in a sachet that you simply pour into a mug and fill up with boiling water. You give it a good stir, leave it to stand for 5 minutes and it is ready to eat. They can be found in supermarkets and convenience stores, and I get mine from Tesco at a bargain 42p a sachet. There are different flavours to choose from, including Creamy Cheese, Tomato & Herb, Sweet & Sour, Hot & Spicy, Chow Mein, Chicken & Mushroom, Chicken and Roast Chicken. They are all low in fat, some more so than others, but at the most they are less than 3% fat. The highest in ... Read the complete review
