Advantages: nice cherry bits, thick creamy texture

Disadvantages: unhealthy, expensive, weird

"Muller surprise us with a new flavor."

But is anyone actually surprised? Somehow I doubt it. Wow. Cherry yoghurt. A real revolution of the yoghurt industry. Amazing what they can come up with, huh? No. It's really not surprising. It's no marvel. I lied. It's boring. It's a freaking cherry yoghurt and no one cares. Jeez. Everyone does cherry yoghurt. Tesco, Danone, Alpro. Weight Watchers even went and dared to make the almighty CHERRY YOGHURT. But it's Muller. So lets be surprised. Because it's a new flavour. And the new flavour is cherry.

Anyway I doubt anyone actually cares, but that little snippet is above my review, here, and it's like - what? Why? Who is surprised? No one is surprised, unless you've some phobia of cherries and then you come across this packaging in the store and gasp, wince at the mere sight of those delicious cherries, run home in streaming tears. I don't know if they're really delicious looking because I don't eat cherries. I cannot compare. But they're all shiny and stuff, so yes, they are probably delicious looking and this would surely escelate the reaction in some cherry phobic.

This is all speculation, sorry. Facts.

This is a yoghurt. It is a cherry yoghurt. It is made by Muller and has blue wrapping with a cherry on top.

Sorry.

This is a yoghurt and I opened it and it was pink inside. I was rather shocked at the wateryness but then I remembered this was yoghurt so mixed it with a spoon and it was rather nice and creamy.

Oh. It's so blah blah blah.

Anyway, I do think this yoghurt was rather nice. Licking the cover, I was a bit confused at the taste because it was a bit odd in flavour and I thought it would be the awful orange all over again. Thankfully, once I delved the spoon in and continued, 'twasn't so. It was quite nice. Usual Muller Amore creamy and thick, but not too much so. Nice texture, in short. Yes. I would say so.

But the flavour is weird. Interesting. I don't know if it tastes of cherries because, as I say, I don't really eat cherries. The last time I did was about a year ago. I don't think it really tastes of cherries, myself; but feel free to go and contradict me. I don't mind. I declare myself no cherryologist. I'm not actually a nutritionalist either but I have to say anyway that this is STUPIDLY UNHEALTHY. Yes. Indeed. I ate it anyway, I will say. But I'm stupid, so yeah. Wouldn't really recommend this, you dieters and carers of health out there.

Why? Well, well, well. I will not tell you. Because I am the holder of this information, and 'tis mine. No. I will tell you: 215 calories, 23.7g of sugar, 11g of fat, 6.8 saturates. BUT THERE'S 17% OF YOUR CALCIUM RDA. This surely makes it all better!

Except it doesn't. Really. That's pretty crap, in my books. 17% calcium for over 25% (fear my generalising mathematics) saturated fat. Hardly worth it, I should think.

But I ate it. So yes.

There are weird little bits of cherry or cherry stone or whatever, just parts of cherry in this and I have to say they were very nice. Much better than the strawberry. I actively searched for them, then eliminated them. In my belly.

Overall, a nice yoghurt I'd say. I wouldn't actually eat it again though because the flavour was a bit, er, weird and I'm too much of a conformist so will stick to strawberry and the like. Cherry, I mean, how OUT THERE is that?

But these are 68p a pot, which is a blatant rip-off. Only buy it in the next two days while the offer in Asda is 5 for £1, which is a slight improvement. If you buy them when the offer is off, I am scared of you and your extravagent spending. It's a freaking yoghurt. I could make a meal for that money.

Beans on toast, for example.

Mmm.

Summary: Ehhh...why bother?
