Advantages: delicious
Disadvantages: High in calories (High in taste though lol), it is quite expensive too!
Before I get into this review I just want to point out that I did request a link to review 'Cherry Amore' yogurt and not actually Morello cherry flavour as this link suggests but I got directed to here and no link is given lol. Not only have I not seen the morello cherry flavour in-store I never even knew that it existed had I have done I'd have bought that probably instead of this lol!
at the moment I'm loving yogurt and particularly loving this juicy, natural indulgent range and definitely happy to work my way through the range as quickly as possible!
The Packaging....
150ml dark dark blue plastic tub with matching coloured lid with a photograph of yogurt with a cherry sitting in it on a spoon. In white and red writing on the lid and around the pot I'm told it is Muller Amore 'for Me' Cherry Yogurt and the best before date is stamped on the lid in black ink. I am told it is 'indulgent chunky red cherry yogurt... all from the finest natural ingredients', weight is stated, I'm told where to find the best before date, nutritional information and finally ingredients are clearly listed on there to. On the base of the tub (which is white) I'm told it's suitable for vegetarians, I'm told once again it is cherry flavour, contact details for Muller are given and finally there is a bar-code on there. Classy looking tub, large in size and the lid peels off quickly and with ease so no faffing about required! There is nothing to complain about packaging wise with this at all.
The Yogurt Itself....
It's wibbly wobbly and partially set. Colour wise it's a light pink colour, slightly whipped looking with lots of pieces of juicy cherry scattered through out it. Scent wise you can really smell cream mixed with Cherry's and it doesn't smell unnatural or heavily sweetened to my nostrils. It just simply smells luxurious and looks the same as that!
Taste wise...well it's totally grown up and sophisticated. It's quite thick and gloopy looking with a nice shine to it. You can really taste the tartness of the plain yogurt in this delicately thickened and whipped with what tastes like fresh cream and sugar (which are ingredients in this product). Although fairly thick in it's appearance it really is light and moreish and I really like everything about this yogurt from the appearance of the pot to the colour of the yogurt to the full fat flavour and it being all fresh and juicy in the pot.
This isn't a healthy option though. It's full fat and full of flavour and rather than a healthy option is in some cases as unhealthy as a hot pudding but it's a must as a luxurious treat for true yogurt fans! Lovely!
