Advantages: Light and delicious

Disadvantages: The pot is too small!

My review is about the Tropical flavour from the Müller Corner Healthy Balance range of yogurt corner deserts.

Let me jump right in and tell you that I found the Müller Corner Healthy Balance yogurt in the Tropical flavour to be so scrumptious that whenever I am in the one and only supermarket in my area which sells it, I buy at least a dozen pots.

Müller Corner Healthy Balance is made with 100% natural ingredients, is low in fat and probiotic. No sweeteners, no preservatives and no added colours. There are four flavours: Strawberry, Peach & Orange, Red Berry and Tropical.

If you have tried any of the Healthy Balance yogurts, you may have tried the flavours of Strawberry, Peach & Orange or Red Berry, where the yogurt sits on a layer of fruit compote. Personally, I didn’t like those at all, finding the compote sickly sweet – so much so I had to discard the whole thing. I ate the tasty cereal clusters carefully mixed with the top scraping of yogurt off the compote but discarded the rest.

However, the Tropical flavour is deliciously simple and simply delicious. Like the other flavours, one corner contains a separate helping of honeyed cereal clusters whilst in the other is a low fat, probiotic yogurt without any compote at all.

The cereal clusters are particularly tasty. Mixed in with the clusters are nibbles of tropical fruit such as banana, papaya and pineapple. Gorgeous.

What’s Probiotic Yogurt when it’s at home?

Probiotic yogurt helps to maintain the balance of good and bad bacteria in your digestive system. ‘A hectic lifestyle, poor diet or antibiotics may disturb this delicate balance’. Taste-wise it’s delicious: not too sweet and not too tart. It’s white and creamy and really do wish I could find a bucketful of the stuff.

Best ways to enjoy?

Any time! Because it’s so light, the Tropical flavour can be eaten at breakfast, lunch and as a desert after your evening meal.

Ingredients:

This product boasts 100% natural ingredients with only 2.1% fat. However, a 150g pot does contain ‘carbohydrate 18.2g of which sugars are 4.0g’
It also contains milk and wheat (gluten). The packaging also warns that the product may contain traces of nut.

Price per pot: I paid 45p although you may find it cheaper in your area

Freshness:

I have found that this product can keep for up to a month in the fridge – which is just as well seeing as I squeeze as many as I can into ours.

Conclusion:

Out of the four flavours of the Healthy Balance variety of yogurt deserts the Tropical wins hands down. The other three flavours are marred by the sickly sweet compote included with the yogurt.

Thank you for reading.

Summary: A light & delicious yogurt desert to be eaten any time

Hi I,ve never tried these yogurts until this morning, My husband brought them back by mistake, but they are lovely my daughter had the strawberry and i had red berry. The red berry one though is the same as the tropical just plain yougurt and the clussters, The strawberry one does have the compote though.
