Advantages: Tasty!
Disadvantages: Not many flakes
I like to eat pretty well during the week and tend to have a day at the weekend where I eat what I want. Yogurts are something that are seen as pretty healthy and I normally buy low fat ones to stay in keeping with the healthy eating that we do through the week but I fancied one of these the other week.
The pot that these come in resemble a fruit corner yogurt except these yogurts contain both banana yogurt in the big triangle and chocolate flakes in the small triangle. They cost around 50p a pot but I do see them on offer a fair bit so it's worth picking them up then if you really like them.
The yogurt isn't as nice as the vanilla flavoured one that comes with the choco balls variety but it's still of a good quality. The banana is very obvious although not too overwhelming. It also has a 'creamy' edge to it which reminded me of a banana split! The pot was filled almost to the brim and around the edge of the pot there was that thick film that was a tad thicker and creamier than the rest of the yogurt.
The chocolate flakes were not the best I've tasted but were of a good size and very thick. The chocolate covering was substantial enough and when I bit into one they were very fresh and crunchy.
I normally eat the pot section by section without mixing but after dipping a flake into the yogurt I felt that they complimented each other very well and continued on in this process until all of the flakes were gone. The flakes turned the yogurt a chocolate flavour in my mouth which was quite pleasant.
As with most of these products I ran out of flakes long before the yogurt was finished so I would have liked more flakes in the pot but we can't have everything and this didn't 'dent' my over all feeling for the product.
If you like bananas and chocolate then this is right up your street!
Per 150g pot you will consume 215 calories, 4.8g of fat and you don't want to know how much sugar is in here because it will make your tummy flip over!
Summary: UMMMMMMM!
