Muller Light Layers Strawberry

Newest Review: ... every little helps at the moment! The pot is the same shape as the other Muller Light yoghurt pots and is wider at the top ... more

... than a 'standard' sized yoghurt pots thus making it easier to get at the contents - until you get to the bottom that is! There is bit of a ridge round the bottom of the pot and getting that last bit of yoghurt out is very difficult! These pots are transparent rather than the normal white Muller Light pots and I am guessing that is so that you can see the two distinct layers inside. The foil lid shows a picture of strawberries with a wiggly line which I think is meant to denote the fact that the strawberries com...more

Premium Review Muller Light Layers Strawberry: Sticky Strawberry... (1216 words)

After taking advantage of the 12 for £3 offer at Asda, I've finally worked my way through all the flavours of Müller Light they have available, and have singled out which are my favourites, and which I plan to stay clear of. So where does the Strawberry Layers fit in? *** I rummaged in the fridge for my lunchtime dessert, not having any cravings for a particular flavour. I hovered over the two layers options that were left, and opted for the Strawberry. This was originally the first Layers I had sampled, and did not know what to expect; until then I had only had the traditional flavours. Looking at the lid, it did not look much different ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Light layers to help the diet (634 words)

As you may well know Dave and I have been buying and eating lots of Muller Light yoghurts whilst we have been trying to loose weight. Each morning I make a pint of sugar free jelly, split it between four glass dishes, add some fruit and let it set. We then eat the jellies with yoghurt poured over the top like a sugar free trifle. To ring the changes we have been trying all the different flavours and I thought that we had tried them all but when I was shopping at the weekend I spotted one called Muller Light Layers Strawberry flavour which sounded like something different so I got one each for us. The cost was 54p for a pot containing 175g of yoghurt ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Muller Light Layers Strawberry: Heavenly low fat dessert (627 words)

I have to face the fact, I have a sweet tooth. I love something sweet after a meal, and it doesn't matter how full I feel after eating a main course, somehow, there is always room for 'pudding'. Dessert doesn't always have to be a heavy pudding and custard, something light and sweet will do, and so often a yogurt just fits the bill. I have surprisingly found a low fat yogurt that does this, mullerlight strawberry layered yogurt, and they are really lovely. The pack is similar to a regular mullerlight, apart from the pot being made of a translucent plastic, and if you're not careful, you might find yourself with a regular strawberry mullerlight, ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Not the best Muller out there! (395 words)

I have not tried any of the Muller Layers before and actually did not even know about them so I was surprised when I bought a pack of 6 Mullers in Tesco to find that 2 of them were of this layered Strawberry type. I had thought it was going to be similar to the delicious Muller strawberry corner, only with the strawberry on the bottom instead of at the side of the yogurt. This Layers yogurt comes in a tub just like the normal Muller Lights only it is see-through, lighter in colour and looks more summery to me. The fat free yogurt is nice and creamy, it is cool and refreshing with a nice thick consistency. Not too thick mind, like a yogurt I ate from ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Muller Light Layers Strawberry: Good for a snack break (430 words)

After recently going on a healthy eating binge I decided to give these yoghurts a try and, to be honest, they're not overly bad. I used to eat quite a few of the Muller Fruit corners so thought this would just be a healthier alternative and would hopefully taste about the same. The first thing I noticed is that the pot is now more pot shaped (if that makes sense). The whole pot is round unlike the triangular shape of the fruit corner. I do find this makes it easier to get all the yoghurt as none gets stuck in the corners. In terms of looks, its not all that different to a fruit corner, just a different layout. Instead of the fruit being ...  Read the complete review
