Advantages: Tasty, low in fat, provides 28% of your RDA in calcium

Disadvantages: Contains gelatine and aspartame

When I purchased 4 pots of Muller Light at the weekend that I hadn't tried before I though that this one would probably be the nicest so I've saved it for last....

Packaging:

The yogurt comes in a plastic white & black pot. The pot is covered with the usual foil lid with a picture of some blackberries on it. The pot tells us that it weighs 200g that there are 88 calories per pot, that it's fat free and that each pot will provide you with 28% of your Recommended Daily Amount of calcium.

The ingredients for this flavour are: Yogurt, Water, Fruit (8%) {Strawberries:3.5%, Blackberries 2.5%, Raspberries: 2%}, Water, Elderberry Juice from Concentrate (2%), Fructose, Modified Maize Starch, Gelatine, Flavourings, Sweetener: Aspartame

The Yogurt:

On opening the pot I can see that the yogurt is sort of lilac colour which looks very similar indeed to the Cherry flavour. You can see bits of fruit in the yogurt and it looks to be of a thick consistency. Time to dig in!

Taste:

This yogurt has a reasonably thick consistency and, like yesterday's Peach and Pineapple, there seems to be quite a lot of fruit inside it. Of the three fruits listed on the ingredients ~ strawberry, blackberry and raspberry ~ the presence of the blackberries is the most readily apparent due to the fact that Muller haven't used seedless blackberries. They also appear to have used whole blackberries which, given that they're usually larger than raspberries means that they're more noticeable when you're eating them. In terms of strawberries I suspect that they used pices rather than whole ones.
The yogurt itself is on the sweet side rather than have any sort of sour or tart edge to it, but it's no more sweet than any of the other flavours in this range.

Price:

At time of writing Morrisons have Muller Lights on offer for 25p

Opinion:

I really like this flavour but, given that I like strawberries, raspberries and blackberries as fruit anyway that's not such a surprise to me. The fruit and the yogurt work well together to create a nice contrast and it's nice to see some decent sized blackberries used rather than something smaller. Of course, this yogurt isn't for anyone who doesn't like "bits" in their yogurt or who can't handle seeds inside their fruit. It's quite tough to know where to rank it but I think, for me, that the presence of the blackberries just about pitches it over the Strawberry flavour.
This yogurt will provide you with 28% of your RDA of calcium and, as with the rest of the range, is virtually fat free.
On the negative side this yogurt contains both aspartame and gelatine, both of which some people have issues / concerns over and it's not suitable for anyone with any sort of milk intolerance or allergy.

The lid says that these are a limited edition line so try one whilst they're still available.
