Advantages: The low calorie way to solve the problem of a sweet tooth

Disadvantages: Strange aftertaste, not the most pleasant Müller flavour

I do like a pot of Müller yogurt but never really fancied the toffee variety as for me yogurts should be fruity and naturally sweet. However, recently my daughter has become obsessed with this flavour and this week she brought me over a couple of pots to try.

I have to say it's nice, but not as mind blowing as I was expecting it to be. As with any Müller yogurt this is thick and creamy, it has a rich and filling consistency which I really enjoy in a yogurt.

I found this flavour a little too sweet if I'm honest, the toffee flavour is fairly authentic but I really thought the whole affair was rather synthetic tasting and not a patch on other flavours in the Müller Light range. The yogurt is sweetened with aspartame and a caramel syrup but I do think Müller have gone a little over the top as this is a very sweet yogurt indeed, it put me in mind of a caramel dessert than a yogurt really which would be great if it tasted that little bit nicer.

Also this flavour has a very strange aftertaste, not unpleasant in itself but the aftertaste for me became a little bitter by the time I had gotten towards the end of the pot.

A 200g pot of Müller Light Toffee yogurt costs around 54p and contains just 100 calories and 0.2g of fat. This is incredible really considering how sweet and rich this yogurt is. I'd recommend it completely to any dieters who are struggling to control a sweet tooth, I finished mine but did find it to be rather sickly towards the end. My daughter however thinks this is the best yogurt ever and raves about how deliciously reminiscent of toffee it is.

I agree, it's reminiscent of toffee. But it's not toffee, is it?

Summary: If I wanted a toffee I'd have had one!

OH what a shame. I adore this one - much better than the excuse of Weight Watchers version even if it is a point less!

Toffee is my favourite too - I have one nearly every day! (much kinder on the teeth than the real thing1!:o)
