I had completely forgotten what I had packed for lunch today, as I did it before I want to bed last night (bad memory must be due to old age!), so imagine my glee when I opened my lunch box to see a Muller Corner dessert of the Mississippi mud pie variety, instead of the usual low fat yoghurt. I class these desserts as a treat. I am trying to stick to a low fat and healthy diet but to stave off the inevitable frustration with 'low fat' and somewhat boring offerings, I have one 'normal' pudding for lunch each week. One dull Monday morning on the way to work, I had my usual Monday morning thought. ?This week I am NOT going to give up on my diet!!!?. Ah Muller Corners. The perfect way to convince yourself you are eating fairly healthy yoghurt when in actual fact all you want is the interesting bit - be it cereal, biscuit crunchy topping, chunks of meringue or if you are diet inclined or just like them maybe even fruit. Mississippi Mud Pie, as well as being fairly difficult to spell, is just about the most removed from healthy yoghurt dessert but it is very chocolatey and yummy.
