After enjoying the incredibly delicious Muller Rice Rhubarb, I decided to give the Blackcurrant flavour a try. This was a combination that I was quite surprised at; I'd never considered mixing the sweet taste of rice with the bitter berry flavour of the fruit. For this reason alone, I could not wait to experience the pudding. The pot gives no indication as to what the contents looks like, however it is attractive! It's a glorious mix of deep purple and a cool shade of cream. On the lid, you can see an image of a pile of blackcurrants, appearing to be very tempting and juicy! As a child I hated rice pudding and have never been tempted to try it as an adult. That is until I read a few positive reviews about Muller rice and vowed to give the rice pudding thing another try! The final persuasive push came when Asda were offering 4 pots of muller rice for just £1. I choose a few different flavours including blackcurrant. They all combine the right amount of each Rice Pudding and Fruit ... Read the complete review

The first thing you notice when peeling back the foil lid is just how creamy the dessert is. It's like having proper rice pudding as opposed to the runny stuff you can sometimes get. Added to this creamy rice pudding look is a swirl of blackcurrant, a taster of what lies at the bottom of your pot. I tend to give the pot a stir, as the blackcurrant sauce sinks to the bottom. Stirring it gives you the ... Read the complete review
