I like Muller Rice, and I tend to buy them in the Mini Pot variety, as I can fit this into my healty eating a bit better than the larger pots. You get this in a standard sized pot which I think is 150g, or in the maller sized pots which are 100g. You get the mini pots in packs of 6 and they have 3 Original and 3 Strawberrry and they normaly cost £2, or the standard sized 150g pots, which cost about 55p. The packaging is alright. You find these in the chiller section next to the Yoghurts and Mousses. The tub is a normal style plastic tub which has the writing around the side of the white plastic tub. They have a foil lid which peels off easily and this has the ... Read the complete review

I've always loved rice pudding, but usually buy it in a tin. I've always had the impression that Muller Rice was designed to be eaten cold which is why it never much appealed to me much. When I was in Sainsbury's the other day, however, these cutest little pots of Muller Rice caught my eye. The dinky little 100g pots cost 15p, so at that price I thought I'd give them a try! The pots are much like the big pots of Muller Rice, white plastic with a foil lid, just in mini. The pot states that the rice can be eaten hot or cold. No prizes I went for hot.. and wow just peel the lid off and stick it in the microwave for thirty seconds. That's it. It come out at the ... Read the complete review

I have reviewed and tried Muller rice- the Strawberry version and while it has grown on me, I found 'Buy 4 Get 4 Free' in Morrison's at the weekend (this applies to all Muller yogurts and is valid until the 31st March). I got myself some 'corner' yogurts and also Muller Rice to take to work in 'Original 'flavour. So I got this yogurt for 26p which is a bargain. Other supermarkets (including Tesco and Sainsbury's are running a 4 for £2 promotion, but usually follow suit when another supermarket has such a good deal on. I peeled off the foil lid this morning and was greeted with creamy coloured rice. On the foil lid it told me what I already knew, that this ... Read the complete review

** What is it? ** The original and best: a pot of creamy rice pudding from the Müller Dairy. It comes in 8 different flavours: apple, blueberry, cherry, raspberry, rhubarb, strawberry, vanilla custard and original. I'm going to review the original flavour, which is just rice pud with nothing else added. ** Packaging ** The pot is nice and wide so you can easily get a dessert spoon in, unlike some yogurt pots which are too narrow and force you to eat with a teaspoon. Sometimes it's good to be able to shovel it in with a big spoon! The pot can also go in the microwave (obviously you have to remove the foil lid first to prevent a ... Read the complete review

I have always been a fan of rice pudding - it is lovely, simple food that is filling and comforting. My mum used to make wonderful rice puddings when I was a child, and it was one of the first dishes that I learned to make when I begin to teach myself to cook properly (although admittedly I cannot make it as well as my mum just yet). Having said that, rice pudding is not really the quickest of dishes to make, for all that it makes the house smell wonderful once you have eventually produced it! The time consuming (and messy) nature of the dish means it is not something that I make very often, so when I do fancy some rice pudding it is normally the pre-prepared variety ...
