When biting into the bar, the topping is soft and chewy and the coconut flavour is divine and quite strong, although I can also taste hazelnut and caramel. Although the packaging states that honey is used in the preparation of the bars, there is no taste to suggest that there is even the smallest amount of honey within. The nutty flavour is quite subtle, the strongest flavourings being the coconut and the caramel. As part of my healthy eating drive, we have not been buying chocolate bars and cakes recently. Although I like Nutrigrain bars, and the odd cereal bar, I can become bored with them quite quickly, so when I spied a new cereal bar on the shelf in my local Tesco supermarket, I eagerly added a box to my basket and bought them home to sample. The bars cost 99 pence for a pack of 6, which I feel represents good value for money. There is very little information on the packaging about the company who manufactures the bars, other than that they are made in France by a company called AAD-RD5.
