As a person who is currently trying to loose weight, as is hubbie, I think cereal has a lot to offer. Of course some are packed fiull of sugar, but if you hunt around, some of them are low in cals/fat. I never used to eat breakfast, but as part of my diet I have started. I am not sure why this category would exist on here nor why it would matter to the members which cereals I like or dislike but as the category is here and I do have a few favourite cereals I thought why not announce them to the world or at least to the Dooyoo members. My all time favourite cereal is the simple, humble Corn flake, it has to be Kellogg's corn flakes and they have to be drowned in freezing cold milk but as long as they are then they are number 1. I don't like to eat unhealthily and I feel Breakfast to be the most important meal of the day. When I wake up in the mornings I look forward to a big bowl of cereal, especially when I've got my favourites in the cupboard. If you opt for unrefined, wholegrain cereals with no 'rubbish' added to them, a bowl of cereal is the perfect breakfast. A big bowl can easily keep you going until lunch time and I like to opt for cereals which feel substantial and fill me up. My preferred choice is a good bowl of muesli.
