Disadvantages: Not many nice ones
**Introduction**
When it comes to breakfast there are a huge amount of different cereals on the market there's also porridge and oatmeal but I hate them so only stick to Cereals. Like any other food, people obviously have their favourite cereals as well as their favourite sandwich fillings or favourite thing to have for dinner. I am not a regular eater of Cereal in the normal form though and tend to buy those fruity cereal bars you can buy. Having said that, there are a number of different cereals that I like and here are some of my favourite Breakfast cereals.
**Favourite Cereals**
Cheerios
When I used to eat Cereal regularly this is what I usually had,
Cheerios were first produced on June 19, 1941 by General Mills cereal company of Golden Valley, Minnesota. I really like the taste of these Oat cereal o's are one of the most popular cereals worldwide and have had a number of other varieties released including Honey Nut Cheerios, Frosted and also Yoghurt burst Cheerios.
Corn Pops
Another one of my favourites, This time made of Corn, These were first released in 1951 and are still around now. These are yellow balls of corn that also contain wheat. Some cereals dissolve to quickly with Milk but these are fine for ages with milk and have a really nice taste which is great for grown ups and kids. So you can buy them for the whole family. They don't need much added sugar as they are sweet enough.
Coco Pops
These are one of the worlds biggest known cereals and have many derivatives from the supermarket's own brands. Known as Cocoa Krispies in the United States, this cereal is basically rice krispies with Chocolate and when you add Milk to this cereal you will see it gradually lose the chocolate colour into the normal rice krispie and then you can drink the leftover Milk which basically makes a Chocolate Milkshake.
Lucky Charms
These are a little different to your normal cereal as they are a mix of oat-based pieces and multi-colored marshmallow bits which come in various shapes. I have not had these for ages but I remember how good they were when I had them. From the box these are clearly more of a children's cereal but they can be enjoyed by adults too and I am tempted to have a look out for them next time I am in the supermarket.
Weetos
These are the same kind of idea as Coco Pops but are Wheat instead, These round wheat cereal pieces are covered in cocoa powder and have a stronger taste than coco pops. These are made by the same people who make Weetabix and I am a little surprised that I like these as I hate weetabix. Finally you can do the same with these as you can with Coco Pops and make yourself a Chocolate Milkshake with the milk that's leftover.
**Overall**
So There we have five of my favourite Breakfast cereals, I may actually try a cereal for something different as although I like the cereal bars It won't hurt to try something different for a change. I think they also go great as a late night snack as they are not very high calorie and are very easy and quick to make. So why not do your own review on your favourite cereals and see how they compare with others.
