I'm extremely fond of pizza, but most of the shop bought ones have cheese on them, so to make a vegan pizza I have to put one together myself. I'm far too lazy to want to prepare them from scratch too often, so shop-bought pizza bases make a nice easy way of cooking a vegan pizza. The Napolina pizza bases came in a box of two large bases of 150g costing £1.69. With this type of pizza, you just get the round base and have to buy the sauce and toppings separately. They do recommend their own brand, but I have found that any pasta sauce in a jar works just as well. We call the bases either "biscuity" or "doughy" and most companies seem to use the biscuity type base we don't really like. By biscuity I mean it isn't bread like (like the ones you get from a takeaway, yum!) and it cooks so it goes hard and crunchy like a biscuit. Pizza bases aren't really supposed to be like this and we're not fans of the biscuity type base. With that in mind I decided to try some bases that we add our own toppings to to try and find one we liked. First on the list was these Napolina bases. These are the large ones and in the pack ...
