... expect them to be because of them being chocolate but they freshen your mouth up nice like actual mints. The texture of the Aero Bubbles is wicked, you can suck them so that the chocolate coating melts slowly and when it's gone the bubbly centre will dissolve quickly into a mega creamy chocolate. The mint flavour comes through proper strong as you suck them and it's like an explosion of cool mint when the bubbles start melting. These chocolates are mega addictive, I'm not even that mad on the taste of mint with chocola...more

Premium Review Nestlé Aero Bubbles: Undeniably Minty (285 words)

Mint Aero Bubbles, well the first thing I think of is that they have combined mint with chocolate, in my opinion not the best ever combination of ingredients that has ever been thought up. I have never been much of a mint and chocolate fan, don't get me wrong I like both flavours individually but in this product they don't particularly match all that well. The aero bubbles are like small little balls of chocolate and look similar to maltesers but a bit smaller but they are a whole lot different as when you bite into them they are filled with soft bubbly aero chocolate. Because of the aero and the way it melts in your mouth the texture of this edible product is ...  Read the complete review

I have always been a bit indifferent when it comes to aero it is not one of the ones that I automatically select when in a shop and if I do I tend to always go for the mint version if I do. However I tend to find the mint a bit over powering and would prefer to eat more of the chocolate in ratio to the fondant centre. I was interested to see then that Aero Bubbles were now available that seems to address this issue as the chocolate is basically small balls of the fondant filling with the nextle milk chocolate wrapped around the outside so you get more chocolate per portion. As far as taste goes the mint centre is still rather sharp and is only ...  Read the complete review

Introduction I first tried these Aero Bubbles when I bought the sharing bag from Tesco that was on offer for just over £1.00, I love the way they have changed from a bar into cute little sphere shapes, they are great. They look almost like maltesers from the outside but when you pop it into your mouth you experience something like never before. These were launched in 2005 and I cannot believe why I hadn't tried these earlier, these are bite size and I love them... Packaging The larger 135g pack comes with around 50 bubbles inside and is made of plastic with a rip off strip an a larger sticker to place over the top to prolong freshness! ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Have They Popped My Bubble? (285 words)

I am a self-confessed chocoholic, particularly when I have pmt or if I am ill with a cold, and although I do have favourite chocolates, there arent actually many chocolate bars or sweets I dont like! I bought a large bag of aero bubbles to try because they were on special offer in my local Budgens store and the picture of them on the packet looked so tempting! The packaging is a glossy foil bag which is easy to tear open and has the usual adhesive sticker on the bag for re-sealing the bag - I have to admit this isnt often necessary in my house! The theme of the packaging is minty green with lots of bubbles, the trademark bubbly chocolate writing and ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Nestlé Aero Bubbles: Minty chocolate with a bitter after taste (451 words)

One of the chocolate based snacks available from Nestle are the Aero Bubbles, partnering the Munchies and Rolo's. Based on the mint Aero bars that sees a peppermint flavoured aerated bar of Nestle chocolate. Now the first thought that comes to mind when thinking about that is that it's Nestle chocolate, which to be totally honest is amongst the worst chocolate on the shelf, at least that's the problem with plain Nestle chocolate. This doesn't appear to be a problem with the none plain chocolate, such as the white chocolate that Nestle use in Milky Bars and Caramac bars. So coming in a white, green and brown bag come these little balls of Aero with a soft mint ...  Read the complete review
