Minty chocolate with a bitter after taste (Nestlé Aero Bubbles)

One of the chocolate based snacks available from Nestle are the Aero Bubbles, partnering the Munchies and Rolo's. Based on the mint Aero bars that sees a peppermint flavoured aerated bar of Nestle chocolate. Now the first thought that comes to mind when thinking about that is that it's Nestle chocolate, which to be totally honest is amongst the worst chocolate on the shelf, at least that's the problem with plain Nestle chocolate. This doesn't appear to be a problem with the none plain chocolate, such as the white chocolate that Nestle use in Milky Bars and Caramac bars.

So coming in a white, green and brown bag come these little balls of Aero with a soft mint chocolate taste. The balls are each around the size of a Malteser or a Mars Planet (or a Revel) and feature a plain chocolate coat around an aerated chocolate. Unlike the plain chocolate associated with Nestle this is actually really nice, the mint flavour hides any dubious tastes the chocolate has by it's self. In fact as the chocolate is actually quite soft it makes the sweets a real treat to eat and they can be eaten in one of two ways.

The first way is to bite them and eat them like a normal Aero, this is probably the most "normal" way to eat and releases a strong minty taste from the chocolate in your mouth. If you are a fan of mint Aero you will love these are they are pretty much smaller versions of the the bar.

The second way is to suck them until the outer layer falls to pieces leaving just the centre in your mouth, this too soon melts leaving a slightly coarse taste in your mouth along with the soft minty taste.

Overall the sweets are nice but do come at a rather hefty price (47p for a bag) and you can't help but think that they do have a poor chocolate in them that has been saved by the mint flavouring contained with in it. If you are a fan of aerated chocolate you will almost certainly love these though personally they do seem to taste a slightly bit off for me personally and I'd rather have a Munchie than another one of these. They have a sickly quality to them and do seem to contain an alarming amount of saturated fats.
