I love After Eights but only tend to buy the boxes at Christmas or on special occasions, so in the Co-Op yesterday I was pleased to find that they have brought a bar version out which was priced at just £1.26 for an 80g bar. The packaging is wonderful; it looks extremely luxurious in the inimitable bottle green and gold of the After Eight chocolates. I couldn't wait to tuck in! The bar is split up into eight large segments and I instantly realised that it was dark chocolate, for some reason I'd envisaged this bar to use milk chocolate which is strange as After Eights have always been dark chocolate. It smells delicious minty even though none of ... Read the complete review

I love After Eight's so when I spotted that you could get a block of After Eight chocolate, I decided to give it a try, as I don't get Easter eggs any more, yet I quite fancied some chocolate to eat over the Easter weekend. The chocolate comes in a fairly large bar, weighing in at 80g. It's wrapped in a luxurious looking dark green paper wrapper, and then underneath, in gold foil. The actual bar of chocolate is split into just eight large pieces, which I found a little surprising, as I would have expected more, smaller pieces. Each square of chocolate has the After Eight clock moulded into the top, again adding to the luxurious appearance. ... Read the complete review

After Eight Bar, yet another great product from nestle who have bought us the delights of Aero and Kit Kat plus many other lovely things. I love after Eights and always end up eating a lot more of them than I should so when I saw this bar for sale in Tesco at just £1.17 I had to try it. After Eight Bar is a giant 80g After Eight in a bar form, yum! It's perfect for anybody who loves after eights. It comes in a thick dark green paper wrapper it has a very similar appearance to the box that the original after eights came in. Underneath it's green exterior the chocolate is wrapper in gold foil to help keep it nice and fresh. On the front of the green wrapper is a ... Read the complete review

I am a huge chocoholic, getting through a day without a single morsel of chocolate passing my lips is a momentous occasion for me. Minty chocolate is my absolute favorite, it has been known for me to 'accidentally' eat the box of After Eights especially bought for Christmas Lunch by the second week of December and then 'accidentally' eat the replacement box by the third week. Ooops! Anyway, you can imagine how happy I was to see that Nestle have made an After Eight 80gram bar. I purchased my bar from my local Co-op for £1.19 which I thought was about average for the size. I have researched a bit and found that Tesco's, Sainsbury's and Woolworths sell at ... Read the complete review

There used to be a time when After Eight mints were for special occasions only...more to the point, Christmas only... This was because they came in a box, not a wrapper - a box. And they weren't just thrown into said box, no - they came individually wrapped. This gave After Eight mints a high status which meant they were off limits as an everyday chocolate... But wait! After Eight can now be enjoyed outside of festive seasons, because it now comes.....drumroll!.... ......in a bar....!!! I first spotted these down the confectionary aisle in Tesco a few months ago and they have now become a regular feature of the weekly shop. ... Read the complete review
