... are a variety of covers on each bar which feature either a monkey, Zebra, leopard, snake parrot and lion while the choice is random I found two parrot pictures in this pack. This is one bar I am sampling purely for review purposes and then I shall never eat another animal bar of my son's. The paper wrapper is covered by a silver foil wrapper. Inside the paper wrapper is a small quiz which is aimed at children. The one I have unwrapped wants to know how many parrots are facing to the left and right. The chocolate itsel...more

Premium Review Nestle Animal Bar: Put a Roar in your Snack (421 words)

The good old Animal Bar from Nestle has long been a favourite in my house due to my son's intense love of all animal related products. This chocolate has no exceptions for him and as it has a picture of two animals etched into the face of the chocolate he loves it. The Animal Bars come in packs of 4 from Sainsbury's and they cost 95p for a pack. This isn't too bad as the bars are a good size for a little snack and although I wouldn't put them in his lunch box for school, they make a good sweet treat for a lunch box when you go out for the day together. The bar is just chocolate and nothing else. There are no nuts, fruit bits, honeycomb or anything ...  Read the complete review

My mum loves treating Noah and is always giving him different chocolate delights. This week she showed up with a packet of Jelly tots and these animal bars. I remembered them from when I was a child and was actually quite surprised that they still made them These bars are made by Nestle and cost around 90p for a pack of 4. They are made of milk chocolate and each bar contains 97 calories,4.9g of fat and 12g of sugar. These bars are packaged in the old fashioned way and I love it. They have a paper outer which can be taken off easily and then you are left whith the silver foil to open up. These days everything seems to be wrapped in a plastic wrapper ...  Read the complete review

I had never seen animal bars for years but then on a trip to Asda with my daughter there they were as large as life, I remember buying them for my first grandson around 7 years ago and how much he enjoyed them so I grabbed a pack containing four bars and looked forward to finding out if the rest of my grandkids enjoyed them as much as he had. Animal bars are made by Nestle, they are basically a chocolate bar like any other but they have pictures of various types on animals on the bars and they have either games on the inside of the wrappers or pictures for the kids to colour. The pack of four bars cost me 89p but they were on offer so I am guessing ...  Read the complete review

When I was younger, the rule was that you came in from school and had some orange juice and a chocolate snack - not a full chocolate bar, but something smallish like a two-finger KitKat, or one of these, an Animal Bar. The habit stuck, but the problem now is that I "come in from school" two, three, sometimes four times per day since my classes run from 7am until 9pm with many breaks in between. Although generally I have progressed to eating proper sized chocolate bars now I am a fully fledged grown up, eating two, three or sometimes four of these every day is something even I, a seasoned chocoholic, would admit is a bad idea, so I was thrilled when Big Sis came ...  Read the complete review
