Nestlé Blue Riband Chocolate Wafers

Blue riband bars consist of a wafer bar wrapped in chocolate. They are halthy for a chocolate br with only 99 calories, although they do contain 4.9g of fat. They are around 9 cm long. The taste is quite chocalatey but not so that it is overpowering. The wafer is rather plain in flavour. They are a nice snack and ideal for childrens packed lunches. They are also quite cheap in price with a pack usually coating 99p. The only problem would be that as they are not very filling it is easy to eat two, which would then add up to 9.8g of fat! You all know by now how much I love chocolate and most things to do with chocolate but the only problem is the calories I have when I eat it. I am always on the lookout for chocolaty things that give me my chocolate fix and do not pile on nearly three hundred calories as I eat it. A life-long favourite of mine, Blue Riband; I remember being a little boy and my mother buying these in her weekly shopping and then being accused of eating them all 2 days after arriving in our cupboard. I denied all knowledge, of course and blamed my dad, but caught my mum on many an occasion sneaking one with her cup of tea. 20+ years later they are still as they always were, a chocolate covered wafer biscuit that comes in packs of 6. When I was writing about how much I love Breakaways earlier I started thinking about the Blue Ribands in the cupboard because I haven't had one for years. I've just sorted that and eaten 2 and proper enjoyed them! A Blue Riband is a chocolate covered wafer bar that sounds boring I know but it's actually a dead tasty chocolate bar and I bet you can't stop at one once you've opened the multipack. Blue Riband Wafer Bar I find myself eating more of these chocolate bars everyday. In fact this is the third biscuit bar that I have reviewed in the past seven days.
