Advantages: only 99 cals
Disadvantages: Sometimes hard to only eat one
I'm always trying to shop on a rather tight budget, so this often means that I have to deny my cravings for all those lovely chocolate biscuits and opt for some boring plain ones instead, but when I was in my local Tesco Express they has these biscuits a on special offer, so I decided it was too good an offer to pass up and I treated myself to a packet.
The offer was a pack of 9 for just 64p. they are normally over a pound for this size of packet from most supermarkets.
The Biscuit
*********
It is a crispy wafer covered in real milk chocolate. It is just the perfect balance of crispyness but not too hard, with just a thin layer of chocolate covering it as well as in between the layers of wafer. Each biscuit contains just 99 calories making it a nice light snack to curb the chocolate cravings.
The Facts
********
Each biscuit contains:
99 calories
9.7g of sugars
4.9g of fat
3.1g of saturates
Trace of salt
These biscuits have no artificial colours, sweeteners or preservatives. No hydrogenated fats, No eggs or nuts. These biscuits are suitable for vegetarians.
Looking at the Saturates (11% of adults gda) in this biscuit, you should probably enjoy these as part of a healthy diet.
I should probably stop eating these 2 at a time then, but they are just so tasty and easy to eat.
These are the nicest wafer biscuit I have tried. I know this sounds weird but they are the softest wafer biscuit, they just melt in your mouth and are not too sickly.
These biscuits are often overlooked because they have always been around, and with all the varieties that we have to choose from nowadays.
Go on, give them a try, you wont be let down, especially if you get them at a bargain price like I did.
Summary: They are an old favourite, a nice chocolatey treat
