... confectionary product. Each biscuit bar contains 99 cals, 5g of fat (of which 2.5g are saturates), 12g carbs, 1.3g protein & 0.9g fibre. I hardly think the fact that the biscuit is wholemeal & provides 0.9g of fibre makes up for the calories & fat, but I suppose it's better than nothing. Various pack sizes are available, & can usually be found on some promotion or another. I bought a pack of 9 biscuits for £1 at Asda. They are suitable for vegetarians, & contain no nuts or eggs....more

Premium Review Nestle Breakaway: Everyday Needs A BreakAway! (342 words)

"Everyday should have a breakaway"... I couldn't agree more! Single bars of chocolate can be quite expensive when bought individually and be quite filling or sickly, so I quite like multipackets where the snacks are smaller and a lighter treat. Breakaway, launched in 1970 by Nestle, are popular biscuit bars and are readily available in supermarkets so you shouldn't have a problem getting your mitts on them. Breakaway itself is quite simple and plain: a wholemeal digestive biscuit covered in milk chocolate. As they're made by Nestle, a leading confectionary manufacturer, you know you're getting a quality product. Each bar is individually ...  Read the complete review

Nestle Breakaway I have been trying not to over buy too much stuff when doing the food shopping for the past few weeks as we have been waiting on a day for us to move into our new house. So instead of my weekly trawl to Tesco’s to overspend on stuff I don’t need I thought I would just pop in to Morrison’s, which is a lot closer just to pick up a few essentials. Chocolate is a major essential in my eyes and something, which caught my eye, was this multi packet of Nestle Breakaway. I know that these have been out for ages and they were a biscuit snack Mum would often put in my lunch box for school. What also drew my eye to them ...  Read the complete review

All Nestlé products will have the Nestlé logo including the breakaway which has the picture of a birds nest with two birds sitting in it. You'll find the word Nestlé on all of there products as well written above the word breakaway on this particular product. Nestle Breakaways are a biscuit I remember from my childhood. My Grandma always used to have them in the house, and I used to love them, as we never got them at home. I picked up a packet of these the other week in Lidl when they were on special offer, having completely forgotten I was on a diet! I think the reason was, I was concentrating so hard on not overspending, as food prices have gone up so much even in the cheaper supermarkets, I was just buying what I could afford. ~About the product~ For anyone who hasn't tried these, they are basically a bar of wholemeal digestive biscuit which is coated in chocolate. They are made by Nestle, and they ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Nestle Breakaway: I can easily breakaway from these! (294 words)

When I was little I was one of those who always, without fail, bought a lunchbox to school. My parents couldn't afford school lunches for both my brother and I but our lunch boxes were always crammed with lovely goodies to keep us going throughout the day. When I saw 'always' I suppose I mean 'most of the time'. There were days when it was nearing the end of the week and mum had nothing in the house so we would end up with peanut butter and jam sandwiches and then there were days when she just fancied bunging one of these in our lunch box. Breakaways retail at around £2 for a pack of 18 biscuits and they consist of a wholemeal digestive biscuit covered in milk ...  Read the complete review
