Premium Review Nestle Cereal 'Almond Oats and More': Nuts about this? Not exactly... But it's not bad (442 words)

This was the first in the Oats and More series which now also has a honey and raisin version. I have tried the honey but am yet to try the raisin although it does sound nice. The cereal contains wheat flakes, oat clusters and almond pieces. The cereal comes in a white box with lots of words describing the cereal on the front which always reminds me of a brainstorming session as they have obviously just put down any words associated with the cereal like 'crispy / yummy / oat' and so on. With the other two in the range they colour co-ordinate the writing to the contents of the cereal so the honey box has brown writing and the raisin one has purple writing but ...  Read the complete review

My ideal breakfast would always be a cooked one and preferably with someone else cooking it but let's get real for a minute, the chances are slim to none so I tend to eat a lot of cereals. I like to try new cereals as it can get very boring sticking to the same old things all the time (I am the same with men)! My latest venture into the world of new cereals saw me trying Nestle Almond Oats and More and loving it, well liking it a lot anyway. This cereal is a very crunchy tasty cereal and even after the milk has been on a while it stays crunchy rather than going soggy in seconds. The flakes are dark brown and dotted with tiny pieces of ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Nestle Cereal 'Almond Oats and More': More yes less almonds though??? (978 words)

When it comes to cereals I could seriously simply live on them! My favourite usually is fruit & fibre (even if it's just shops own), if I'm freezing and Mums making it I love porridge covered in golden syrup and occasionally I really crave some weetabix covered in cold milk and sugar (usually at night for some strange reason lol). If I don't eat that then I eat either muffins, croissants or crumpets with butter and jam on them or toast again covered in butter and thick cut orange marmalade. I'm quite a creature of habit I guess and I know what cereals I like due to the fact that I have an eating disorder and I always plan to have a good breakfast which sets me up ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review More, more, more please! (504 words)

I eat cereal everyday and have tried just about every brand on the superarket shelves - from Supermarket's own cheap brand to the super-dooper organic muesli mixes which cost a bomb! This 'Almond Oats and More' from Nestle is one of the highest quality and nicest tasting cereals I have consumed. I do like cereals which provide a combination of flavours and textures and this is the prefect example of that. The main part of the cereal is flakes made of wheat and oats. These are surprisingly large and stay crispy in milk even at the end of the meal. The flakes are dark toasted brown in colour and the surface is dotted with tiny shreds of white oat. They seem to ...  Read the complete review

Almond oats and more is a breakfast cereal made by the well known company Nestle. The cereal consists of crispy toasted oat and wheat flakes covered in tasty baby oat pieces, with crunchy oat almond clusters. The cereal is packaged in a cardboard outer box. The cereal is packaged in a keep fresh inner sealed bag. The box is mainly green in colour and has 'Oats and more' written in large writing with a description of the product. The box contains nutritional info and is recyclable. The cereal is very tasty. The flakes are delicious. They are very crunchy and have a lovely malty oaty taste. The crunchy almond part of the flake is ...  Read the complete review
