Advantages: Taste great and are healthy!
Disadvantages: None really!
I'm loving experimenting with breakfast cereals at the minute and ditching my usual helpings of fruit 'n' fibre which I've been stuck in a rut with for the past 5 years (in the main lol) so I opted to try a small single serving box of this the other day to try when in my local Sainsbury's. At 35p a box I thought why not and seemed a good way of trying something new to me lol!
The Packaging....
No matter the size the size of the box they're all the same in appearance. Mainly white cardboard with a picture of the cereal on the front and in red and blue writing on the front I'm told it is Nestle, Cheerios and that the box contains 92 calories 9without milk), is full of whole grain goodness and is made from corn, oats, rice and wheat. On the 'lid' of the box the best before date is clearly stamped on and I'm told to store the cereal in a cool dry place and the recycle symbol is shown. Other information on the box given includes ingredients (these are Vegetarian by the way and the symbol is displayed for that), allergy advice is given a full nutritional rundown chart is given and contact details for Nestle are also listed along with finally a bar-code being displayed. Nice enough box and contains enough information on it!
The Cereal Itself....
Lots and lots or robust, deeply crunchy and pleasantly (but not overly sweet) little 0's. Four different coloured 0's swim about in milk (without scumming or turning to mush or discolouring the milk colour) and basically each colour represents a flavour I.E Corn, Oats, Rice and Wheat. All taste fresh and smooth and slightly toasted. I liked the texture of these being smooth and although they are small a portion (recommended 25g) it is rather filling and at 92 calories per said serving...seems like a good deal to me lol.
All of the cereal tastes the same really although each O is meant to be a flavour (as I touched upon earlier) but I didn't notice that but what I did feel was that it banished hunger away till lunchtime and also banished my usual snackaholic sweet cravings I get usually!
Very tasty and a suitable breakfast for the whole family in my opinion just don't expect a standard box to last you a week cos they're so moreish! Trust me, but the largest size you can lol
Allergy Advice....
May contain nut traces.
