Advantages: Taste delicious, made with wholegrain

Disadvantages: Expensive for a box which goes down so quickly

I haven't bought Cinnamon Grahams for some time so wasn't aware of the fact that they have now changed their name to Curiously Cinnamon, which in my opinion is a bizarre name for a breakfast cereal and doesn't even sound right! "Nan, can I have some Curiously Cinnamon?" just sounds ridiculous, doesn't it?

These are an absolutely delicious cereal, in spite of it's silly name. Curiously Cinnamon are small squares of cereal (whole wheat and rice according to the box) that have been toasted and then coated in a delicious cinnamon and sugar mixture.

It's the texture of the cereal that I enjoy so much because the cereal squares are fairly thin so they are light and crispy even after adding the milk. They do soften in the milk, of course, but they still retain a slight crunch that I find absolutely delightful.

The cinnamon flavour is just right in my opinion, it's been mixed with sugar to give a sweeter version of the spice and I personally think it goes beautifully with the crispy squares. Curiously Cinnamon have got a very strange flavour in that it's almost impossible to describe it adequately. I can taste the cinnamon rather strongly and this is definitely the overriding flavour in the cereal, although it doesn't completely mask the delicious taste of the toasted cereal.

I love the powdery sensation of the cinnamon/sugar coating, it tastes delicious and feels wonderful as I eat the cereal. The powder also obviously comes off the cereal and mixes in with the milk to give you what is basically a thin, sweet cinnamon flavoured milkshake - almost!

The only thing that lets this cereal down for me is the price and the fact that you don't really get a lot for your money. I paid £2.07 for this 375g box which may not sound terribly expensive but when I tell you that the box lasted for just two days then I'm sure you'll agree that this is not good value for money at all. No, I didn't eat them all myself (although I could have!) but my two older granddaughter's were staying and on the third morning when I went to do myself a bowl there were no more than five squares sitting in the box!

This is presumably due to the moreish-ness of the cereal because it really is very addictive once you start eating it - although I do curse the selfishness of the girls' sometimes, regardless!

Summary: A delicious cereal which a strange new name.

I love these, I like the way they make the milk taste all cinnamony (thats not a word!)

Wonder why they changed the name?

Wonder why they changed the name. Bizzare! Cinnamon Graham was strange enough, but Curiously Cinnamon is just crazy! lol.
