I have just purchased a box of Dairy Box chocolates in the sincere belief/hope that I will get at least one orange cream and a coffe cream. (My absolute favourites).. for Christmas. It seems that these items are almost illegal and that nobody in the world but me, thinks I should be allowed one.
However, and I do not know where the the other reviewer bought their Dairy Box, but mine is 50% nuts (3 almond 1 hazelnut and 1 praline out of 10). how many do you want? And yet still no orange or coffe creams. I hate nuts. There is an orange trouffle ...yeuk! It is an awful texture and has no taste of orange whatsoever. There is ONE raspberry cream which my wife assures me does not taste like raspberry and she further descibed as "horrible and not really a cream". NEVER again will we waste our hard earned money on a box of these boringly presented, anaemic looking, mainly for nut lovers, waste of money. If there is a confectioner out there who actually cares, pleaae note that there are still people who do like orange and coffe creams... and lots who HATE nuts. It is also interesting that nut allergies have increased massively over recent years, but I have not heard of an allergy to orange or coffee creams.
