I don't think I'm assuming anything when I say these aren't particularly popular. To me, they're one of those bars I wouldn't buy, but I wouldn't say no to one. The Drifter is a wafer based bar. Two fingers of wafer are filled with toffee and coated in chocolate. The first thing I notice when eating them is how hard they are to eat. The wafer and toffee is so tightly packed together that there's no air in there, and it's like eating chip-board. This is probably the biggest down-fall of the product, and one that means it's incredibly dry and tough to chew. In fact, you pretty much need a cup of tea or other drink to bring some moisture to it and ... Read the complete review

Drifter chocolate bars, made by Nestle, used to be one of my favourites when I was growing up (along with Banjo's which have, sadly, long since disappeared) and until recently they've been quite hard to find. The other day I spotted a pack in Tesco of Drifter single finger bars so naturally I had to investigate and see if they've changed over time. Packaging ********* There are 8 individually wrapped single finger bars in an outer plastic pack, which is blue with the graffiti style Drifter font in red and yellow. There's a photo of the chocolate bar, nutritional information, ingredient list and a bubble stating 'now with more caramel' - always a good ... Read the complete review

As I sit here I am munching on a.............drifter (dirty!). I wouldn't normally go for one of these but we did an order on approvedfood.co.uk and these were on there for just 20p each so how could we resist? I think the last time I ate one was when I was bulimic so it didn't really touch the sides back then and I didn't really have a clue what to expect from one. The Drifter is a chocolate bar that comes in two long fingers. Each one is around an inch thick and nine inches long. The bottom of the fingers are flat whereas the top has a ridged surface to it. I am guessing that they cost around 50p in normal shops but if you go to approvedfood.co.uk now then ... Read the complete review

The most popular chocolate bars are allegedly Kitkat and Twix, but one I enjoy very much that doesn't seem to be as popular is Drifter. If anytime you're stuck and can't decided whether to go for the crispy wafer of the Kitkat, or the chewy caramel of the Twix, then I say go for a Drifter, as its the best of both. Drifter is a two stick bar, (about the same size and shape as Twix) but inside it is very different. On the packet, it tells you that is is crispy wafer dipped in chewy caramel and covered in chocolate. The packet is bright blue with the word Drifter across the front in bright red lettering which is surrounded by a yellow and white'glow'. Just ... Read the complete review

I'll be honest. I'm not the biggest chocolate fan. (waits for the collective disbelieving gasp of females the world over.) but just on the odd occasion i can be rather partial, but the mood has to take me. For example. I am in the rest room at work rummaging through my handbag and i just so happen to have exactly 45p in change.. spooky that, virtually every piece of chocolate in the vending machine costs 45p. Such a coincidence!! The vending machine looked as hungry as me so i felt it to be rude not to feed it. Standing looking at the delights within i settled on 2 choices. Kitkat or twix. I always eat kitkats and a twix was just too mooshy for my fancies at ... Read the complete review
