Advantages: Great tastes, creamy vanilla ice cream, real strawberry lolly, lots of yummy fun sprinkles.

Disadvantages: None

A Fab is an ice lolly that is made up in three parts. The entire lolly is a strawberry flavoured lolly (using real fruit juice) and then the middle and top are coated with vanilla ice cream and then the top is covered in chocolate and multi-coloured sprinkles. I love the fact that each area has strawberry lurking underneath it and I normally start at the top biting off the sprinkles, chocolates & then the vanilla ice cream leaving me with just the strawberry lolly.

The sprinkles are lovely and crunchy and plentiful and they freeze on the ice lolly very well. The chocolate is Nestle chocolate (as these are made by Nestle) and is not my favourite but there isn't a massive amount and it does go well with the vanilla ice cream which is lovely and creamy and not too soft. The strawberry lolly itself is full of flavour and I can tell that it contains some aspect of real strawberry's (no pips though!). I would definitely recommend this ice lolly, it has something for most people and lots of different textures and flavours going on in every mouthful. It will also keep children occupied for a fair while why they try to work their way through each layer and I have always been quite methodical in the way that I eat mine (see above!).

Each 58ml lolly has 79 calories and 12.5g of sugars so while it is low in calories it is very high in sugars. During the summer months I usually find myself nibbling one of these most days because they last a fair few minutes (even eating at my speed) and they are on offer quite frequently. There are currently on offer (half price) at 99p in Tesco for 8 so I think it's definitely worth buying a couple of boxes ready for the warm weather to hopefully return.

I adore this lolly, it brings back lots of children memories. I enjoy eating them and never tire of them even if I eat them everyday. I would definitely recommend these lollies and I am going to rate them 5/5. I would advise to take care when eating them though as staining can occur.

Summary: A highly recommend treat for cold or hot days - delicious!
