I love cereal at anytime and although I normally stick to store brands, I sometimes get a moment of weakness (it's usually when I haven't eaten and go shopping!) an buy a box on impulse. This time these Honey Nut Cheerios were my impulse buy! I paid around £2.70 for a 600g box which is rather expensive to me. The Cheerios themselves are small circular 'O's' which are a tad smaller than your baby finger nail. I don't like honey but I don't mind it in products like these because it doesn't taste as harsh. I love nuts though so was expecting this product to meet all of my 'nutty' needs! I think that these are far better than the regular ... Read the complete review

When my best friend came to visit Scotland and stay at my flat I asked her what type of cereal she wanted me to buy for her for breakfast. She told me she had recently been eating Honey Nut Cheerios and that would be fine to have. My husband and I had been eating regular Cheerios for a while so I decided to try the Honey Nut variation in order to compare and contrast. Taste: I must say after trying the Honey Nut Cheerios I am totally converted. I found that sometimes while eating regular Cheerios the taste would become a bit bland as soon as the bowl was filled with milk. I also found that they would become soggy rather quickly. Honey ... In the morning sometimes I don't feel like having cereal but with the phrase saying that breakfast is the most important meal of the day I felt I had to change something. I think the main problem is that I wasn't eating the right cereals; I don't like toast as it doesn't fill me up, a fry up is too heavy and tea and biscuits isn't healthy enough. I decided that the cereal that I would try out would be Honey Cheerio's, I had always liked Honey Nut Loops but they're a bit more expensive and also plain Cheerio's don't have enough flavour in them for my liking so these seemed the best option. The box of Kellogg's cereal is quite bright and colourful and to me ... Read the complete review

I had never eaten Honey Nut Cheerios (or even regular Cheerios for that matter) before today. I probably wouldn't have eaten them either, if a free sample hadn't arrived in the post this morning. A 600g box of Nestle Honey Cheerios can be purchased from Tesco's for £2.69, or you could wait 28 years for a free sample in the post as I did. So how was my Cheerios eating experience, and what are they? Honey Nut Cheerios are small cereal rings (or small surreal rings if you've been drinking) which measure around one centimeter in diameter. They are best enjoyed (like any other breakfast cereal) in a bowl with some milk, but I suppose you could ... Read the complete review
