Disadvantages: calories, sugar, availability
About four months ago when I was staying at my mum's house, I noticed she had a new biscuit in her barrel that I had not seen before. I plucked one out for closer inspection, and discovered it was a Kit Kat, but not the normal kind. This was Cappuccino flavoured! Now, I have a caffeine addiction and love anything that tastes of coffee, or similar. I could not wait to try one of these, but decided to wait until after my tea, as it was not far off that time and did not want to spoil my appetite.
I finished my tea and was about to fish out my Kit Kat I had been craving, but before I got the chance, I started to feel quite ill (I still don't know why - I think it was something I had just eaten), and could not possibly stomach chocolate! Unfortunately, I missed my chance there, as it was the last one left, and my brother had devoured it by the time I felt better the next day.
Whilst wandering Asda last week, it was to my delight when I spotted the Kit Kat range on the biscuit shelf. Sitting wedge in between the Kit Kat Dark, and the traditional option, was a pack of Kit Kat Cappuccino 2-finger biscuits! There was no way I'd find myself munching through an entire pack of Kit Kats, but luckily my dad quite fancied to try these too so there was no waste of money, and we purchased the pack of ten biscuits!
When I got home, I emptied the fingers out into the biscuit barrel, but retrieved one, placing it in the fridge. There I left it overnight; I don't really care too much for soft Kit Kats!
By the time it came to my evening indulgence the next day, just in time to settle in front of the television to watch the soaps, the Kit Kat was ready! I made myself a cup of tea, and removing my biscuit from the cold fridge, I snuggled up on the settee.
It was time to open up the wrapper and reveal the treat stored inside. Like the traditional Kit Kat, the main colour of the outer paper wrapper was red. The thing that made it different though was the image displayed on the front; a little cup of incredibly frothy cappuccino. It looked absolutely delicious, and I longed to swap my cup of tea for one!
Removing this layer, I was faced with the silver foil I much recognised. I always used to have a bit of fun with this, and this time was no different. I pressed hard onto the foil, rubbing across it vigorously. As I did so, the Kit Kat logo began to emboss itself into the foil. This always made me smile; simple things please simple minds!
The second I released the chocolate from its silver caging, I was hit with the exceptionally strong aroma. It was not the sweet smell of chocolate I was witnessing, but the delicious coffee-cappuccino scent I was longing for. It smelled absolutely scrumptious, and I could only hope it tasted as good!
Snap!
I broke the two fingers apart, placing one back on the foil, and clutching the other with the tips of my two own fingers at the end. It was still quite cold from being in the fridge. Something that surprised me about the appearance of the chocolate; it was milk chocolate! In my mind, I had just assumed it would be white chocolate. I was slightly disappointed by this poor prediction as I absolutely adore white chocolate, but nevertheless, I was sure it would taste splendid all the same.
I drew the finger closer to my lips, and nibbled a tiny piece off the end, just receiving a sample of the chocolate. Perfect - the cappuccino taste was most certainly there, and the chocolate sensation remained present too. With my cup nestled on my knees, I slowly dipped the end of the finger into my tea. As I drew it back out, I popped it straight into my mouth and sucked off the now-melting chocolate. It tasted even sweeter than before, with a stronger taste resembling coffee.
This revealed the wafer that had been hidden away under the sugary coating. I crunched satisfyingly as the wafer began to soften. Wow, I could not believe how amazing it tasted! In no time at all, my first finger was devoured!
Picking up my second and final finger, I noticed it had gone a bit softer than the last, probably because it had been sitting out for a while. This one was eaten in the same way as before, enjoying each pleasurable moment as I licked off the creamy cappuccino chocolate. By the time I made it down to the end of the finger, it had melted quite a bit; my own fingers were smothered in chocolate at the tips where they were pressing against the biscuit. Of course, I found myself sucking on the end of them too! Delicious!
Once finished both the Kit Kat fingers, I was left with a satisfied and pleasant sensation. Unfortunately, this indulgence had just stirred up a new addiction, and I craved more and more Kit Kats! Thank goodness for willpower!

===Nutrition===
In each 2-finger biscuit, you can find;
107 calories
5.6g fat
The main ingredients include; milk chocolate (66%), (sugar, cocoa butter, cocoa mass, dried skimmed milk, whey powder, butterfat, vegetable fat, lactose, emulsifier (Soya lecithin E476), flavouring), wheat flour, sugar, vegetable fat, cocoa mass, flavouring, yeast, raising agent (sodium bicarbonate), salt, calcium sulphate.
The ingredients don't mean much to me, but I'd say that's a pretty low calorie content for a biscuit with chocolate, and you don't even need to eat both fingers at once either!
===Brief History===
((Kit Kats))
The original Kit Kat was created by Rowntrees, all the way down in York, in 1935, when it was given the name Chocolate Crisp. It went through various other names, such as Kit Kat Crisp, before settling on just 'Kit Kat' after the Second World War.
The first Kit Kat came in the four-finger range, providing that pleasant combination of chocolate and wafer. Over seventy years later, Kit Kats have sold worldwide, fashioning all sorts of new and interesting flavours and sizes.
But the most common would definitely have to be the original four-finger treat, or the smaller version of the two-finger Kit Kat! Apparently, over 800 million two-finger Kit Kats were sold in the UK! That's a lot of snacking!
((Nestle))
Kit Kat is created by Nestle, a company set up in London in 1868 by Henri Nestle. The first UK factory was opened in 1901, and has acquired other names over the years.
It started to develop coffee in the 1930s, and a large variety of new sweets and confectionary throughout the '80s.
Nestle now provide a massive selection of products; beverages, breakfast cereals, chilled meats, confectionary and cakes, creams and desserts, supplements, pasta and cheese, pet foods, waters, yoghurts and coffees.
===Would I Recommend?===
Definitely! These Kit Kats are incredibly delicious, with an equally splendid aroma, and a price that won't do too much damage to your bank balance! Though, I suppose you really must be a lover of that coffee taste in order to enjoy these! They are practical, a perfect size for lunch boxes too! The only problem with these - they are highly addicted, for a strong willpower is needed to prevent over-indulging! Otherwise, they are perfect!
*****
Kit Kat Cappuccino 2-finger biscuits are delicious, I certainly prefer them to the traditional milk chocolate option, and I will be purchasing these again for sure!
