... perfectly shaped, ginormous chocolate finger. Bite into it and all the flavour of the regular KitKat rears through, but with more. There are thick layers of chocolate on the bottom and top of the bar, sandwiching the crisp wafers which are wedged lovingly between. It doesn't crumble onto our lap,it holds together well: the sharp clean edges, when bitten into, make a crisp familiar sound. The KitKat chunky is begging to be eaten in one sitting or dunked into your favourite hot beverage, where it will not melt instantly and f...more

Premium Review Nestle Kit Kat Chunky: A Great Snack (792 words)

The Kit Kat brand is the best selling chocolate brand in the UK. In 2004, sales amounted to more than £170,000,000 (yup, 170 million pounds). The Kit Kat Chunky, also known as the 'Big Finger' was launched in 1999, with great success. In 2005, 73 million Kit Kat Chunky were sold, averaging out at around 200,000 a day! That's one heck of a lot of chocolate! As well as the standard 50g Kit Kat chunky that is the standard size, you can also buy Kit Kat mini versions, a snack size version and a king size version called Big Breaks - originating from Nestlé's slogan 'have a break'. You can also now buy the newer peanut version, which isn't recommended by me as it ...  Read the complete review

I am sat here munching my way through yet another Kit Kat Chunky (as in I had one yesterday!) and thinking how nice they really are! They have always been a favourite of mine since they became available but I find that they truly are a really nice bar of chocolate! The Kit Kat Chunky was brought out in 1999 and nicknamed 'The big finger' due to it being more than double the size of a normal Kitkat finger! The bar has the same design of a small Kitkat finger but on a much larger scale. It is a mix of chocolate and wafer layers inside with a chocolate coating all around. The usual Kitkat logo is imprinted on the top of the bar too. The chocolate on this bar is ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Nestle Kit Kat Chunky: A great chocolate fix! (337 words)

I am a massive chocoholic and unfortunately broke my diet this weekend after eating healthily all week, gutted! I just had a bar of this chocolate with a cup of tea and it was gorgeous. If you have never heard of Kit Kat Chunky, it is a large version of one finger of a Kit Kat. It comes in a red shiny foil lined wrapper and has the words "Kit Kat Chunky" across the front. A bar weighs 50 grams and the chocolate itself is made by popular confectionary manufacturer Nestle. I bought a multipack of three Kit Kat Chunky bars today in Poundland and they cost only a pound. This is a great price as i have paid up to 70p for ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Big Kat (304 words)

Big Kat Kit Kat's are one of my favourite chocolates, the four bars, the wafer, the creme. Kit Kat originals have been around sine 1935 but the Kit Kat Chunky has only been around for 10 years, launched in 1999. Even though it's not entirely the same, the Kit Kat chunky reminds me of a Yorkie Bar, thick, big and full of chocolate. The bar is called Big Kat in American which I think I like even more than Kit Kat Chunky! The Kit Kat chunky itself is just one large finger, not four like the original Kit Kat. In fact, on their website they call the chunky more of a big thumb than four fingers! It is much the same though as one of the fingers in a ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Nestle Kit Kat Chunky: Kit Kat Chunky (386 words)

I've never really been a fan of kit-kat chocolate bars in the past, i've always found their chocolate to be quite dull and tasteless in comparison to other chocolate manufacturers such as Cadburys. However, my partner returned from a trip to the petrol station recently with a Kit-Kat chunky for me. So, not to be ungrateful I ate it and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by it. ~The Product~ Kit-Kat chunky is exactly what it says on the wrapper. Its a normal kit-kat, but in a far chunkier form than normal, and although it features the same ingredients as a normal kit-kat, and is made in the same form, I don't know what it is, it just tastes soooo ...  Read the complete review
