Advantages: The taste and size

Disadvantages: None

I am sat here munching my way through yet another Kit Kat Chunky (as in I had one yesterday!) and thinking how nice they really are! They have always been a favourite of mine since they became available but I find that they truly are a really nice bar of chocolate!

The Kit Kat Chunky was brought out in 1999 and nicknamed 'The big finger' due to it being more than double the size of a normal Kitkat finger! The bar has the same design of a small Kitkat finger but on a much larger scale. It is a mix of chocolate and wafer layers inside with a chocolate coating all around. The usual Kitkat logo is imprinted on the top of the bar too. The chocolate on this bar is lovely and thick to complement it's size and is the lovely chocolate produced by nestle, which for me is what makes it such a nice chocolate bar! The combination of the wafer mixed in makes it easy to eat too as in it doesn't make you feel sickly considering how thick the bar is.

The kitkat chunky is even available to buy in a king size bar if the normal size just isn't a big enough fix for you and these are called 'Big breaks' to tie in with the KitKat slogan 'Have a break, have a Kit Kat'.

some interesting information I found on the website is that in the period of 1 year, Nestle sold 73 million Kitkat Chunkys - a staggering amount when you think that is just one type of the Kitkat range! However not surprisingly from them figures, the Kitkat product as a whole is the UK's top selling confectionery brand.

These can be found in most shops everywhere and depending on where you buy them from or whether you purchase them in a multi pack you can expect to pay around 35 - 50p per bar. A Kitkat chunky has 263 calories in every 50g bar which means that it is over 1/8th of an adults daily allowance and you probably shouldn't eat one every day! Oh well I like these too much to worry about how many calories are in them! Kitkat anyone?

Summary: A brillaint choccy bar for those who like a big bite!
