Advantages: Lovely chocolate, nice wafer
Disadvantages: Too big for dainty mouths
Getting your mouth around a normal Kit Kat is a pleasure, but have Nestle made the Kit Kat Chunky just a little too big?
Well, I love Kit Kat's, in fact, they have been around for as long as I remember. For once, a company seems to have kept the ingredients the same too. So, it is that good old chocolaty taste, with nice wafer biscuit. Then they introduced the Chunky and I sometimes ask myself why? Is it that as a nation we have bigger appetites? or is it that we want to show off, that we can eat a bigger bar than the next person?
In my opinion the Kit Kat Chunky tastes really nice. I am not partial to the peanut one, but the regular one certainly tastes the same as the two, four or five finger variety. However, it is sometimes so hard to bit through that thick chocolate, that Nestle have made it a little to big for my little mouth.
Looking back at my school days, we used to have a five finger bar machine. We were encouraged to buy them (for 20p) and the more wrappers we colected, could be exchanged for prizes. So we were encouraged to eat chocolate... that wouldn't happen nowadays. I blame this for my Kit Kat addiction, go on, have a break, have a Kit Kat.
Summary: If only they were 20p live the old five bar version
