Advantages: Taste
Disadvantages: Can Become Boring
The Kit Kat Chunky is one of my favourite chocolate bars, so I thought it was about time I gave my thoughts on it.
~~~ What is it ? ~~~
I'm sure almost everyone already knows, but I'll give a brief description regardless.
It's pretty basic in that it is just simply some very thin wafers inside a quite thick coating of Nestle milk chocolate.
~~~ Wrapper ~~~
The shiny red foil immediately stands out on a shelf full of other chocolate bars. Giving the immediate impression of a high quality snack.
Once the wrapper is opened you are met by shiny silver inside lining, usually with a slight coating of chocolate from the melting Kit Kat, this can become a little messy in my experience.
~~~ Taste ~~~
I really like the taste of the Nestle milk chocolate, especially when it's slightly melted. The wafers inside are nice and crispy and add a nice crunch to the bar. Put them together and you get a nice strong taste, which fills your entire mouth.
~~~ Overall ~~~
Definitely one of the better products available. Being just chocolate and wafers, there isn't much variety in the taste and this means for me that I only have one every so often otherwise I become bored of them. Also, one at a time is usually enough as they can be quite sickly.
8/10
Summary: One of my favourites
