Advantages: hello? chocolate + peanut butter = heavenly
Disadvantages: um..need i say? calories!
o. my god.
aside from the combination of chocolate and coffee, THIS combination is THE most yummiest yet guiltily indulgent combo!!
ok...to some chocolate and peanut butter is a no no (as is coffee and chocolate), but if you like to eat peanut butter on its own sometimes with a little spoon *ahem*, and you also love your chocolate to bits, then this is the best creation since sliced bread!!
the only other peanut butter/chocolate combo i've had before were peanut butter lindt lindor balls...and they were just dreaaamy, (albeit too rich!)!
with kitkat, you get the added bonus of the wafer-ey bit too to add to the yummyness and cut the richness of it, so all in all a slightly better idea than the lindor balls.
the bar isnt widely available really, but has become more so more recently, as ive noticed multipacks (5packs i think).
still, the idea is great, if not contradictory to the current health/obesity awareness of the world/Britain!
so to analyse the nutritional info of one bar:
calories: 269
protein: 4.3g
carbs: 27.5g (of which is SUGAR: 23.9g)
fat: 15.8g (of which is SATURATED (bad): 7.3) :O
(taken from nestle site- http://www.nestle.co.uk/Nutrition/NutritionInforma tion/ )
if i was to criticize the bar then....i would complain that its a tad salty, and if kitkat wanted to make a bucketload more of money from this product, they should probably advertise that no hydrogenated fats are used or use low fat peanut butter instead...coz your conscience starts biting back after you've finished the bar!
Summary: rich, yet satisfying chocolate-peanut butter combo..guiltily laden with calories & fat!
