Advantages: Peanut butter....hmmmmmm

Y'know it's funny. Have a break, have a Kit Kat, was a marketing slogan I grew up with, watching the kids on television run their nail over the silver foil between the fingers of the kit kat bar and then break a finger off, just holds memories for some reason, and yet I can't remember the last time that I actually bought a 'normal' four fingered kit kat. The reason for this is quite simple really, the introduction of the Kit Kat Chunky brands. Initially starting off just a large kit kat it removed the frustration I always used to get when I opened my kit kat and half of a finger had broken off in my pocket or rucksack, and promptly hit the floor.

Still since then we've seen the introduction of the KitKat Chunky Peanut butter, now this was a stroke of random genius on the part of someone, the little layer of peanut butter at the top of the bar adds so much to it, goodness knows why but the idea of having peanut butter sticking to the roof of your mouth as you munch your way through a favourite chocolate bar is just so right! It still containts the layers of wafer that made a Kit Kat what it is today, but it also has that added texture that really sells it to me.

The only real room I could see for improving this one is simple - more peanut butter, perhaps 50% more would be a big improvement on flavouring to me. Still, I think I'm perhaps waiting for the next limited edition - Peanut Butter and Jelly Kit Kat Chunky...surely it's only a matter of time...surely?

Summary: Kit Kat, but better!
