Advantages: Tons of chocolate, brilliant peanut butter taste

Ah Kit Kats. They've come a long way since the 2 and 4 finger days. I would never class Kit Kats as a real chcolate bar, my reasoning here was that as a youngster my Mum would buy them for the chocolate biscuit tin, alonside the likes of Penguins, Trios and Wagon Wheels. So when I saw these 4 fingered intruders amongst Mars bars, Toffee Crisps and Lion bars I was mildly outraged, "They don't belong here" I thought.

Times change, and while the core 'Top Boys' of the chocolate bar world have stayed strong the Kit Kat went to the gym, consumed various muscle building beverages and became 'Chunky'. And for me, this is when it made a well deserved appearance on chocolate bar shelves everwhere.

The Kit Kat Chunky Peanut is a giant stride forward from Nestle, over and above the regular Kit Kat Chunky. The addition of peanut butter is a masterstroke. Sure, go for caramel, toffee or mint, but it's been done and IS done everywhere you look, peanut butter on the other hand...

The packaging is eye catching, bright yellow foil with the words CHUNKY emblazend on it, if you're looking for it you should be able to find it without a problem.

The taste is superb, and whilst the wafer is a key factor in the Kit Kat it certainly isn't obvious here, overpowered by the mass of chocolate and the welcome kick of peanut butter, although having said that, it still gives a noticable crunch with each bite.

Overall this is a tremendous product, loads of chocolate, tasty peanut butter and a pleasure to eat.
