Advantages: tastes amazing
Disadvantages: 269 calories per bar
Recently I was out and was feeling a bit hungry for a chocolately snack I picked up a kit kat peanut butter and was very happy with my choice. I decided to buy this bar as I have always preferred it to the other kit kat bars and also I was compelled by the bright yellow packaging with red letters which I felt was so much more intersting than the hazelnut brown packaging of a Snickers bar.
The chocolate has a crisp Kit Kat Wafer. The first taste you recieve is that of the smooth chocolate. While I wouldn't say I like Peanut Butter I love the Peanut Butter in this chocolate which is creamy and easy to bite. This is followed up by a double layer of crispy delicious wafer. Aftter this their is another layer of chocolate which surrounds this bar. In my opinion this kit kat tastes delicious and I was longing for another one.
On to the less pleasant nutrition info I was horrified to see 279 calories. Even though I as a twelve year old boy don't care much about calories considering I had just eaten an incredibly addictive five pack I realised I had eaten 1395 calories in five minutes which didn't fill me up and only had 105 calories for the rest of the day. Oh and if you care theirs 15g fat of which 7.3g are saturated, 4.3g protein and 27.5g carbohydrates.
This costs around 40p in newsagents but beware for the incredibly addictive five pack for £1.49 accompanied by a crippling 1395 calories. For a one off however this chocolate in my opinion is second to none and I would highly recommend this.Thank You for reading my review and for more food, gadget and book reviews please search my profile.
Summary: A delicious chocolate but high in calories

- 15/07/09 I wouldn't mind eating 1395 calories in 5 minutes if I could work it off in the same a mount of time - but it doesn't work like that - shame. |
