The combination of chocolate covered icecream and biscuit make it very satisfying and quite filling. However I find it hard to get hold of, the only place I can buy it is my local garage, and even then not very often. ~Calories~ There is 273 calories per bar of maxibon which is very high for an icecream, so it has to be a treat rather t...more

The ice cream van came beckoning me tonight so I just had to flutter my eyelashes at Tom and he grabbed his wallet and escorted me out to the van to make our selection. Despite the biscuit being soft it does not get soggy nor frozen hard and tastes vaguely like digestive. The crunchy crispy chocolate is also continental tasting and contains little fragments of nuts a bit like a Ferrero Rocher. Each 150g bar is a whopping 316kcal with 18g of fat and 34.8g of carbohydrate, so I won't be eating too ...  Read the complete review
