Advantages: Packed with white chocolate chunks.

Disadvantages: None for me.

I purchased milky bar ice cream for my grandson thinking he would love it but he wasn't to keen though, so I thought id have a try of it, well one taste and I was addicted to it.

Milky bar ice cream is everything it claims to be, it just tastes of frozen white milky bar and has lots of white chunky chocolate chunks. I love white chocolate anyway so I was sure to like this product, The ice cream was creamy and soft and melted instantly on my tongue, once i had tasted the delicious white chocolate i was hooked.

This ice cream has definately been made to entice children, i found the ice cream a lovely consistency unlike some cheaper ice creams which can come out and be like a solid block. I took mine out of the freezer 5 minutes before eating and it scooped out the tub with my scoop very easily.

Milky bar ice cream comes in a 950ml plastic oval shaped tub. I purchased this product from ASDA freezer section at a price of £1.96.

*Packaging.

The ice cream comes in an oval shaped tub which is distinctly designed with the milky bar colours of cream and red. The wording across the front is milky bar which navy blue in colour. The ice cream has a reseal able lid which on first opening has a small seal that needs to be broken.

Milky bar ice cream is produced by Nestle they have been famous since 1867 when Henri nestle first created baby milk formula and saved the life of a neighbours child.Other products in this range also include Fab and Smaties ice cream.

Overall milky bar ice cream is a great white chocolate dessert; it tastes great and packed with lots of chocolate and quite good value for money, But definitely not for any one who does not like white chocolate. I look forward to trying the other two varieties.

Summary: A great tasting ice cream

Lots of information about ingredients and the company but not so much about the ice cream apart from it was packed with chocolate bits!

When we tried this we found the ice cream had barely any consistency to it and was thinner than a Mr Whippy on a summer's day. Nice white chocolate but the actual ice cream is truly terrible.
