Nestle have many many products available on the market, but I have to say the one that seems to be the hardest to get hold of (and the most expensive in comparison to others) are the chocolate munchies. These are quite a unique chocolate, so this could be why the price is higher than normal (RRP 65p in comparison to others at 45p). They come in a rectangular packet which consists of a golden foil and a red paper sleeve making them look more luxurious from the start. Then simply written on the sleeve is Munchies in big white letters. The chocolates themselves are square in shape being just a bit bigger in size to a Rolo (another Nestle ... Munchies chocolates are another chocolate product made by the giant nestle. The only similar product that I can think of which is like them is rolos, which are also made by nestle. There really are only a few products that offer chocolates like this, stacked up onto each other to make a tube of separate chocolates but it is really a great idea so im not sure why its not been done more. Whilst they are fairly similar to the rolo I do prefer the munchies so much more. Rather than being round like the rolo, these are square and they seem a little bit bigger than the rolo too. However its not really about what they look like its about what they taste ... Read the complete review

When remembering back to childhood and thinking of chocolate sweets I enjoyed in yesteryear (the excuse, invariably for my current sweet-tooth) the most memorable are Poppet's, the little balls of chocolates with a flavoured inner centre. Second however are Munchies, which I recently saw whilst out shopping, and felt like a blast from the past. For those unsure what I meant by "chocolate sweet", it is a chocolate covered item with something else in the centre such as fondant, toffee, biscuit or caramel, however it isn't a "bar". For example things like Rolo's, Poppet's, Munchies, Revels, Malteaser's and Cadbury's clusters ARE chocolate sweets, ... Read the complete review

I picked up a packet of Munchies last week, remembering how delicious they used to used, and was shocked at the rate of price inflation on these little square biscuit and caramel bites. Munchies are produced by Nestle, a well-known and popular brand since their creation in 1866. Munchies were a creation that become much-loved and remain popular, and I'm glad to say they still taste as good as I remember them to a few years ago. These are sold in individual tubes and are readily available at most supermarkets and convenience stores. They come in a red wrapper, further sealed for freshness by a golden foil underneath. Individual packets can cost ... Read the complete review

My other half often comes in with a bar of chocolate or packet of sweets hidden in his work bag for me. He then produces it gleefully, stating "hold out your hands..." to which I have to close my eyes, hold out my hands and guess which chocolate bar/packet of sweets he has placed in them. This ritual takes place at least once a week, and I think dear dooyooers, that he must stand in the shop choosing which sweet or bar to buy me, by looking them over one by one, and deciding which one I will have the toughest time guessing by touch alone. Sigh. It's a wee shame for him, really!? ;-) Ok, so the sweeties of choice recently were a ... Read the complete review
